November Visit at Oakhill

It was really exciting to connect with one of the graduates today. He was thrilled to share that his “lady friend” is now his fiancé (she is also the mother of his children, and they have decided to get married now given his faith!!!). She is involved with a Bible study at her church, and has been asking him questions about the Bible and the Christian faith. He was like a little kid as he got exited to tell me about all the things he has remembered! Also, he shared that she is taking the kids to church. The graduate said that he is only a couple of years away from release, and is no longer fearful about stumbling and getting reincarcerated! He said, "had I been released before this program, I would probably have fallen back into my old ways. But now, I have purpose!"
